Program includes: Yoga/Coffee and Chat/Speakers on relevant subjects and
occasional bus trips.
Women’s health is not just about breast checks and osteoporosis. It is about being active, both physically and mentally and about having choices. The Older Women’s Wellness Activity in Gladesville & Hunters Hill provides an innovative model for maintaining health and well-being that focuses on the whole of a person’s health. It aims to provide useful information and activities that help older women stay healthy and provide choices about the prevention of illness and a range of health services available.
The Older Women’s Wellness Activity believes that wellness is about having a balance between your physical, emotional and social health. We offer programs of activities that we hope will offer older women interesting information and physical activity in good company.
The information/discussion sessions are decided upon by the women in the group with lots of different areas of interest for each to discover.
