Social Bus Outings Elderly residents who live in the local areas of Hunters Hill, Gladesville and Ryde have the opportunity to participate in one of our many social bus outings. 

Our friendly driver will pick you up in the morning, the group will then travel to one of a variety of destinations that may include a harbour cruise or a visit to a local attraction or one of Sydney’s many clubs. 

At the end of the trip you will be dropped at your doorstep.

Would you like to become a volunteer? Would you like to help out on bus outings and at the same time enjoy
a variety of interesting places around Sydney?

We require volunteers for our social trips as either drivers or carers.

• Drivers - Do you hold a class LR driver’s license? Drivers are required to pick up, drop off and accompany the social groups to their various destinations.

• Carers - Required to help anyone on the trip who may need a hand up the stairs, across the road or in some other way.

Bus Hire Hunters HIll Ryde Community Services has buses for hire to the general community at competitive rates. The three buses available are:

• 21 Seater - A Toyota Coaster with air conditioning. A manual LR 
  licence is required.

• 12 Seater - Toyota automatic with air conditioning.

• 23 Seater - A Mitsubishi Rosa automatic with air conditioning.
  An LR licence is required..
