Seniors Day Centre clients attended the North Ryde Community Aid "Tea Dance" on Wednesday 7th April at Ryde Civic Hall. The clients celebrated their past and present at the 'Trocadero' dance hall.
The Palm Court String Quartet were first class playing all the jazz and popular favorites from previous eras. There was partner dancing or swooning from chairs. Eveyone indulged in a scrumptious high tea while revisiting their youth. One of the 90 years-old men fondly recalled how he met his wife at such a dance while others tapped or sang along to the tunes.NRCA staff did a splendid job.
