Last Sunday was one of those perfect days when everything comes together just so! The produce, festival goers, volunteers and weather all aligned at Boronia Park Oval for the most fabulous family day out. The 17th Hunters Hill Food and Wine Festival was a stunning day enjoyed by thousands of people and all in support of local community organisations such as Hunters Hill Ryde Community Services.
The total funds raised have not been released yet, but we know that our sponsors (United Resource Management Group, Access Engineering Systems, Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar and Shopper Media Group) have done their utmost to support us. If we are to judge only by the raffle prizes; we know that we gave away over $2,000 in prizes which were all donated to us! The 100 Job Smart volunteers from Sydney University lent us a hand and made sure that the oval was spotless, raffle and rides tickets as well as festival glasses and gelato sold. So many willing hearts and helping hands.
What can we say, but thank you to everybody, our organisation will greatly benefit from your generosity.
Please enjoy the beautiful photos taken by Discover Hunters Hill which does great work to promote our Hunters Hill community.
