How is the service funded?

The Day Centre is a not for profit
service funded by the Home and Community Care Program (HACC) to provide centre based
day care for older people living at home in the Ryde and Hunters Hill areas. |
| Days of operation |
The Centre is open five days per
week with two specialised days:
Monday Chinese group (Cantonese speaking)
Wednesday for those suffering from dementia and
Alzheimers Disease. |
About the Day Centre

The Centre is located at 42
Gladesville Road, Hunters Hill and provides a range of activities for the older people
attending.
These include:
Friendship
Social Activities
Picnics and Barbeques
Bus Outings
Transport to and from home
Morning and afternoon tea and lunch
Music, games, art and crafts. |
| What is the cost? |
There is a small client
contribution depending on the activity. No one is excluded from services due to an inability
to pay. |
