The Service operates from Hunters Hill Ryde Community Services and provides support to Carers of the frail aged and young people with a disability. An important focus for many Carers is the day and evening social and support groups held at the Centre, with guest speakers and social outings.
Carers are those who provide care and support for a parent, partner, child or friend who has a disability, is frail, suffers from dementia or a chronic illness.
Every caring situation is special and requires an individual and personal approach to determine the appropriate service which will be of most benefit to both the Carer and the person for whom they care.
Our coordinators provide one-to-one support to Carers and link them with other relevant services as required. |
