Our volunteer Janice Lee was selected as a finalist in the 2014 NSW Volunteer of the Year Award.
Janice is a valued member of our team who writes and gathers articles, and edits and publishes our quarterly newsletter. She has reviewed many of our documents and made sure that they are well written customer friendly documents.
Supporting HHRCS is just one part of her volunteering work. Janice was a committee member, including treasurer, of the Tara Anglican School for Girls for 31 years, and for 25 years she was a committee member, including President and Secretary, for the Hunters Hill Croquet Club. For last 28 years Janice has been a member of Soroptimist International where she has held executive positions of President at club and regional level and Australian representative on the Soroptimist South West Pacific Federation Board.
At the City of Ryde Janice started as a volunteer, which led to her employment in administration in the Community Life department where she is still working two days a week.
Thank you Janice!
