HHRCS will be holding a fundraising event, "Cuppa for a Cause" on Wednesday the 31st of August, at 10.30am in the Community Hall, which is located at 44 Gladesville Rd, Hunters Hill. Everybody is welcome!
This event is being held in order to raise funds for our Meals on Wheels program. It goes without saying that Meals on Wheels is 'more than just a meal.' Our Meals On Wheels services commenced in July 1967, with the help of kindly volunteers. They supplied an average of 38 to 48 meals a day. Fifty years later we deliver over 13,300 meals annually to our diverse community members so that they may realise their potential and grow their independence.
By donating in exchange for a cup of tea you are helping our Meals on Wheels program provide the best service to those who need it most.
