Last year with the generosity of our community HHRCS delivered 199 Christmas gifts to our clients. Members of the community, local businesses, non-profit organisations, schools, day care centres and churches participated in the Tree of Joy and helped us spread Christmas cheer to the less fortunate. It is important for us to recognise the valuable contribution to our services made by volunteers and supporters. We actively encourage people to participate in the community and help us provide dynamic services that enable all persons to realise their potential and independence.
HHRCS would like to thank:
- all those people who took a tag from the Christmas Tree in the Gladesville Shopping Village and lovingly prepared a gift for an unknown friend!
- the 9 volunteers from Ciena Australia who helped us hand deliver 29 gifts on the 22nd of December 2016.
- Tour heroes from the Gladesville Rotary Club, Hunters Hill Rotary Club, Gladesville Public School, Anglican Parish of Hunters Hill, Hunters Hill Combined Probus Club, Henley Long Day Care Centre, Boronia Park Uniting Church, Hunters Hill Ladies Probus and the Ladies Bowling Sportiest.
You all made a difference in someone's life this Christmas!
