Bikes 4 Life

Posted on 20 April 2017

You have an old bicycle and you don't know what to do with it? Have you thought about donating it?

Bikes 4 Life is an organisation which restores and provides bicyles to the most marginalised and impoverished communities around the world. With the simple gift of a bicycle, families can enhance their standard of living dramatically. Bikes 4 life has transformed the lives of many families by widening employment opportunities, gaining easier access to remote sources of food and water and ensuring that children are able to regularly attend schools.

HHRCS is proud of being part of this project and has dropped off 12 bikes to Bikes 4 Life recently - they along with 450 other bikes are being shipped off in a container heading for communities in Siem Reap,  Cambodia.

Upcoming projects include Congo, Kenya and Pakistan.

If you want to participate in this great project too, please drop off your unwanted bike to HHRCS 46 Gladesville road, Hunters Hill and we will make sure it goes to Bikes for Life.
